The vision of a group of dedicated parishioners led by talented landscape designer Jim Dinsmore, the original Memorial Garden at St. Gregory’s was built in 2004.  This beautiful space has proven to be a wonderful asset to the wider community, and is used  for purposes as diverse as Peace Day celebrations, yoga classes, kids’ play-dates, or even a refreshing spot in which workmen might eat their lunch.

Described in the press as "one of the hidden jewels of the Catskills,"  the Memorial Garden has recently been designated a member of The Quiet Garden Trust, a UK-based international organization which acknowledges special places of quiet and hospitality.
